Bricksoft Sentinel

A gateway should expect the network to be imperfect.

Sentinel is a LoRaWAN gateway family designed around resilient operations. Store-and-forward and related features protect field data when upstream connectivity is interrupted.

HotDrop, VoltDrop, and other sensors connect to both the LoRaWAN Gateway and Sentinel. Scout also connects through the customer's existing Wi-Fi access point. All three network devices connect to the Customer Platform, powered by Spark.
The architecture supports mixed sensor fleets and multiple network paths while keeping the operating platform and data under customer control.

Network resilience

Preserve the data path.

A short WAN outage should not automatically become a permanent gap in the customer’s history.

  • Store-and-forward continuity for intermittent upstream connections
  • Fleet health and operational context surfaced through Spark
  • Deployment patterns that separate radio coverage from WAN assumptions
  • Support for standard LoRaWAN sensors—not only Bricksoft devices
  • Architecture planned around recoverability and field service

Sentinel specifications and availability are preliminary and subject to validation.
