Privacy policy

We do not need to follow you around to improve this site.

Bricksoft uses a small, consent-based, first-party analytics design. We do not use advertising trackers or send site analytics to Google, Meta, or another analytics platform.

Effective date: July 22, 2026

This policy describes the Bricksoft LLC public website. Customer deployments, support systems, and contractual services may have separate privacy and security terms.

Your consent choice

On your first visit, the site asks whether Bricksoft may collect basic private analytics. The choice is stored in your browser’s local storage under bricksoft.cookieConsent. This essential setting is used only to remember the decision.

If you accept, an anonymous random session identifier is kept in session storage until the browser session ends. If you decline, analytics are not sent and the session identifier is removed. You can change the choice at any time using Cookie settings.

Optional analytics data

After consent, the site may send:

  • an allowed event type, such as a page view;
  • the page path and page title;
  • a coarse referrer category: direct, internal, or external;
  • a short identifier for a selected site action, when applicable;
  • a random session identifier that the server stores only as a keyed hash;
  • the server-side time the event was received.

The analytics event does not include query strings, advertising IDs, cross-site identifiers, form contents, or the referring URL. The analytics database does not store the visitor’s raw IP address.

Why we collect it

Bricksoft uses these events to understand which public pages are useful, find broken navigation, and improve the site. There are currently no public analytics reporting or visitor-management features.

Storage and retention

Analytics are sent to a Bricksoft-controlled same-origin endpoint and stored separately from customer platform data. Raw analytics events are scheduled for deletion after 90 days. Required hosting and security logs may be processed by infrastructure providers for service operation and abuse prevention under their own limited retention policies.

Messages you send

If you email Bricksoft, we receive the address and information you choose to provide. We use it to respond, evaluate the request, and maintain the resulting business relationship. Do not email secrets or sensitive production data before an appropriate exchange is arranged.

Sharing and sale

Bricksoft does not sell website visitor data. We do not use it for behavioral advertising. We disclose information only to service providers needed to operate the site, when directed by you, or when legally required.
